How We Met (From Nicole's Point of View):
Jeff and I became aware of one another sophmore year of college during our Art History 102 Survey class at Skidmore. I sat next to him one day and was intrigued to hear him chuckling softly at the erudite jokes our scholarly professor was making about ancient Greek art.
Two years later, newly returned from our junior semesters abroad in Italy (he was in Rome, I was in Milan), we found ourselves sharing a senior modern art seminar. It was the first day of class and Professor Katie Hauser made us partners on a class project. I remember whispering to my friend Amanda that Jeff was looking really cute in his superman tee shirt.
So I guess it was the class project that really forced us to get to know one another. We bonded over our trips to Italy, our interest in art, and I introduced him to Brazilian music. We became inseparable during our senior year. Here's a shot of us on graduation day. Two spring chickens ready to take on life.
